Blackbird Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Whenever I add a device or start linking, it finds the device but it also shows that it is writing to my back door sensor and says it cant find it then displays a red exclamation mark beside it. Back door sensor works fine and it is at the top of the list but why does it keep doing this?
Teken Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 The only time it should try to do that is if it's part of a linked associated scene. Are you sure you haven't selected add a new device to an existing scene? Plus a battery device must be awaken to write to the device. Ideals are peaceful - History is violent

LeeG Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 The pending update for the door sensor could have been there for days or weeks. Put the Door Sensor into linking mode and select Write Updates to Device.
