cowboyzx6
I have added device (2476D) 18.1E.CB as a controller to scene "Landing New". I am able to control the load (a group of ceiling lights) via the device itself. In the console, when I click on the individual device, I am able to turn it on and off. However, when I try to click any of the buttons at the scene level, nothing happens. Including recent log below. Not sure if it matters, but I did try to cross link this switch with another 2476D and I couldn't. But, thought I would tackle one problem at a time. LeeG
Was the cross-link attempt done with an ISY Scene or done manually? Run Show Device Links Table on 18.1E.CB and post the Show display.
cowboyzx6
The cross-link was done through ISY Is this what you wanted to see? And after clicking the Compare button:
LeeG
The device is missing all the Scene link records. None of the Scenes will work nor will the ISY be aware of the device being turned On/Off. Do a Restore Device to rebuild the link database.
cowboyzx6
It worked! What an education I am getting today! Thanks again.
LeeG
Glad to help. It looks like the PLM was replaced at some point. Was the old PLM 18.D0.7F? If so the Restore Device may have written link records with the old PLM address.
LeeG
Also note that if things are working now but not last night you may have other sources of interference that are On only at night.

Also note that if things are working now but not last night you may have other sources of interference that are On only at night. Great point...I will keep an eye on it tonight when my "Evening" program runs!
cowboyzx6
Is there a best practice to "clean up" anything related to the old PLM?
LeeG
Without knowing the old PLM address I would take no further action.
