mitch236 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Wes, I recently decided to use MobiLinc Connect to access my ISY from my iPhone. This should mean that I can get rid of DynDns which I've been using to have a static IP address however, do I still need to keep the DynDns so that I can access my ISY from a remote computer or do you provide a means to find my ISY remotely from a computer? Thanks,Mitch
InsteonNut Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Hi Mitch, Under the initial free for 30 days account access is limited to just the MobiLinc app client. Once you subscribe your ISY to MobiLinc Connect under one of the subscription options, the servers open up access for you to use your PC/MAC and the Admin Console. Instructions for this are provided in MobiLinc, but in short you would use this link to reach your ISY from a PC/MAC: https://admin.mobilincconnect.com/isy/xxxxxxxxxxxx Replace the x's with your ISY's UUID (no colons). When prompted by the Admin Console use your MobiLinc Connect email address as the username and your MobiLinc Connect password as the password. Wes
mitch236 Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 Thanks! I tried it this morning and got this message: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /isy/00:21:b9:xx:xx:xx on this server. ( I replaced my UUID with x's for this post but on the web page, I had them in correctly)
MWareman Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Thanks! I tried it this morning and got this message: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /isy/00:21:b9:xx:xx:xx on this server. ( I replaced my UUID with x's for this post but on the web page, I had them in correctly) You should try as Wes suggested: Replace the x's with your ISY's UUID (no colons).
InsteonNut Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Hi Mitch, Please remove the colons from your UUID in the web address and try again. Wes
mitch236 Posted March 27, 2015 Author Posted March 27, 2015 Perfect! I need to remember to read more carefully! Now to get my widget to work! I've been able to place a widget on my iPhone's Today View, and I have it running the "Then" command but it isn't working. Anything I need to check? Is the widget supposed to change colors? Mine is in a red circle.
InsteonNut Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Hi Mitch, Check the program status in the MobiLinc app or in the ISY's Admin Console to verify that the Then part of the program is running when you tap it on the TodayView. The colors for programs are: Red = Program is FALSE Green = Program is TRUE Wes
