I have the z-wave module installed in my ISY, it works great for automating lock unlock commands to my locks. I've tried putting both a link from a keypadlinc and a Yale z-wave lock in a scene so I could lock/unlock a door lock with a KPL, but the options weren't available in the scene.

 

Anyone know if this is possible?

Based upon my experience, I believe this will require a program to accomplish.

 

Something like

:

If

Status kpl button is on

Then

Unlock door

Else

Lock door

Thank you for the suggestion, that worked perfectly. One thing tho, my keypadlinc button status "on", how do I set the button "off", I tried within a role, but it didn't give me that option, it gave me an option to turn off the backlight. But doing this, the button is still technically "on".

Key pad keys are a special case and need to be controlled by scenes. You'll need to create a scene with the key in it, and turn the scene on and off with programs:

 

Set myscene off
