Motion Detector Linking showing 3 devices

Featured Replies

Hi,

I linked motion detector to my ISY99 Pro with 2.6.8 without any problems using described in earlier posts method of pressing Set button twice. However ISY generated 3 entries in my device table:

XX.XX.XX Sensor

XX.XX.XX Dusk/Down

XX.XX.XX Low Battery

I am confused if I did something wrong or is this the way ISY is recognizing motion sensor. If this linking is correct what for are axtra two entries and how they are working? Right now Low battery status does not show any state, Dusk/Down was ON yesterday evening and sensor staus is working as expected.

Thanks for the help - Walter

You are A-OK

The insteon Motion Sensor will signal motion via the sensor, use this to control your devices. It will also tell you when the battery is getting low (use for an alert!) and when the sensor is set up for night only operation.
