How to use ISY994zw w/o PLM

I am trying to start up my new ISY994zw PRO for Z-wave only.  I do not have or want a PLM.

In the admin console, I receive an alert that I am in safe mode, because there is no PLM.

I am assuming that the lack of PLM is preventing the ISY from Reading the list of existing Z-wave devices from my Simon XT2.

I am stuck, so any help would help.

I have searched the UD forums looking for suggestions.

This is for the latest Beta 4.3.8 RC under steps 2m1 which you will select the second link for those not having a PLM. http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/16285-release-438-rc4-is-now-available/

This is another reference thread which indicates should the PLM fail. The Z-Wave portion will continue to operate in a hybrid Insteon / Z-Wave environment: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/14667-udi-plm/

The ISY firmware is 4.2.30

I have been looking on the  UDI website for firmware options, but have not seen anything that addresses the PLM.

Do you have a specific reference?

Posted this before seeing the perfect reference reply.  Many thanks.

I would first suggest you upgrade the firmware to the latest 4.3.8 RC4 so everyone is using the same reference point. In the link I provided above in steps 2m1 there are two links.

You will simply install the second link which indicates no PLM.

Teken: Your links are just what I needed. The Z-wave function of the ISY994zw Pro now works, and no missing PLM message. This makes a good ending to several days of futile attempts to get going.

Glad it all worked out, and apologies for the many days of endless searching.

Many of us can relate and have been there too!
