wasdvd Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I am trying to start up my new ISY994zw PRO for Z-wave only. I do not have or want a PLM. In the admin console, I receive an alert that I am in safe mode, because there is no PLM. I am assuming that the lack of PLM is preventing the ISY from Reading the list of existing Z-wave devices from my Simon XT2. I am stuck, so any help would help. I have searched the UD forums looking for suggestions.
LeeG Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 What ISY firmware is being used? 4.3.8 may have that ability built in. If not UDI can supply you with a version that does not require a PLM.

wasdvd Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 The ISY firmware is 4.2.30 I have been looking on the UDI website for firmware options, but have not seen anything that addresses the PLM. Do you have a specific reference? Posted this before seeing the perfect reference reply. Many thanks.

Do you have a specific reference? I would first suggest you upgrade the firmware to the latest 4.3.8 RC4 so everyone is using the same reference point. In the link I provided above in steps 2m1 there are two links. You will simply install the second link which indicates no PLM.
