wpmjones Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 I've found a couple of topics on IOLincs going bad, but I'm not sure that's the issue here. If I tap the button, it works as expected (the attached buzzer goes off for 2 seconds, then shuts off). If I hold the set button, it goes into Set mode as it should. But when I go to my new ISY-994i PRO, it just won't link. I have another IOLinc that seems to work just fine. So I'm at a loss as to what to try to get this one linked. stusviews Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 The I/O Linc is powerline only, so if the opposite legs of the center-tapped, single-phase electric supply have not been coupled and the I/O Linc and PLM are, in fact, on those opposite legs, then the PLM may not be able to see the I/O Linc. The first item to check is coupling as indicated by the 4-tap or bridge test. Do you have at lest two dual-band devices and/or range extenders? BTW, you may be able to link the I/O Linc if you relocate it, but you still won't be able to reach it in its original location, so the test is important.
