The ISY/Elk integration is great, it's like they were made for each other. Also, the Elk serves as a great input/output extender for the ISY. You can activate Elk relays from the ISY (for example, for a GDO, motorized water valve, etc).

 

You can do some cool tricks with the ISY using your Elk security inputs as well. For example, if anyone rings my doorbell (and it's after dark), I turn on my porch light. If I unlock my door, the front hall light turns on as well.

 

Anything security or life-safety related I put through my Elk as the ISY is not intended (or certified) for those applications.
