ticklemeozmo Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 It's 2015, Java has been kicked to the curb by major browsers, they have a major vulnerability/require an upgrade every moon cycle; the world has moved on, when will we get a fully HTML5 interface?
larryllix Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Much later but UDI shows promise of switching. Java was almost dead a few years ago after they swore they would never support 64 bit versions. Suddenly they made a big come back and must have given out incentives to make such a jump. All decent modern browsers support Java drop-ins. Mostly only software writers like it. Hardware designers like it. It sells more CPU horsepower at a salesman's dream pace.
Teken Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 This process is underway and UDI has indicated they are committed to releasing HTML5 in the future. Its safe to say like you there are thousands of people who simply can't wait for that day to come. There isn't a single thing I like about using this application, none.
