January 3, 20169 yr Like the new Alert module, this seems to be geared for the Hub, specifically the Apple Watch controllable one. I've looked at Insteon's site and SH... it appears, that like its predecessor, its set only. It talks a lot about how to control locks, but nothing about status. I could be wrong, but I don't see it called out. While we're at it, its not dual band, either. January 3, 20169 yr Dang teken. I did do a search before I posted. Thanks LOL, no worries . . . I just thought you had other information that wasn't in my original thread. I had to get to a real computer to review your thread because for what ever reason not all of the information was coming up in the Tapa Talk. When I logged in I noticed it was the same information so just wanted to link to it in case others wanted to join the conversation. As stated in the other thread I was really hoping Smartlabs was going to offer more vendors for inclusion. Sadly, the only solution they offered is Apple Home Kit which not all of the lock vendors have decided to jump aboard.
January 3, 20169 yr Author Yes.. and is it a correct assertion that it still is control only, last status, no active status? Paul Edited January 3, 20169 yr by paulbates
January 3, 20169 yr Yes.. and is it a correct assertion that it still is control only, last status, no active status? Paul Paul, As far as I am aware nothing has changed but wanted anyone who has recently purchased said device to confirm the same. Ideally most vendors when they offer new hardware there is a steady progression in inclusion and resolving past limitations. Its apparent to me Smartlabs once again thought as far as the their nose. Which isn't very far . . . Ha!
January 4, 20169 yr MILocks (MorningLinc) do not report status even with the newest controller (2862-222). I have (but don't use) both a lock and a conrtoller.
