grahamk Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 The slider in HAD really doesn't work well with an android touch screen. I'm curious if anyone has found a way to make it work better, or toyed with replacing it with one that works better for touchscreens.... Thanks, Graham

Thanks, Graham Hello Graham, If you click anywhere on a slider, that should bring the slider to that position. That works on Android. If you are looking to touch-move-release, the jQuery UI slider that HAD uses does not support that. Are you looking to modify your custom HAD, or a fix to the firmware or portal version of HAD? I'm aware of frameworks that can work around that jQueryUI limitation. You can look at touch punch: http://touchpunch.furf.com/ Alternatively, I read about another slider that does it well: http://refreshless.com/nouislider/ Benoit.

Played with it some more and it appears that "clicking" on a slider does not appear to work for me on my S5 unless it has not been zoomed in, which makes it very small. I am using the chrome browser - would you happen to know if others might work better? If i make any changes it would be to my own installation. Thanks for all your hard work on this. Graham
grahamk Posted January 9, 2016 Author Posted January 9, 2016 It seems that the sliders work perfectly with firefox. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
