Is Switchlinc Toast?

This question has to do with a problem I observed with a 2476D SwitchLinc Dimmer W/Beeper v.40. It was continuously writing as I observed it on the Administration Console.  I monitored with the Event Monitor using level 3. Below is some of the monitor's text in which it gave the following "Failed Writing" error:

I then checked the SwitchLinc's device links table and it would not respond with any links.

Figuring this was an unsolvable issue I decided to delete and re-add the SwitchLinc. The delete went find but when I tried to re-add it. It produced another "Failed Writing" error:

See Image 2 or http://screencast.com/t/nCGzX0OKU1IB

I even did a factory re-set on the SwitchLinc and tried to re-add it but got the same error. The last time I tried it I got the following error:

Can I assume this device is toast?

If not, what else could I try?

Thanks,

Steve

Would need to see Event Viewer at LEVEL 3 of each failure to be sure.  The posted trace shows no device response to the four attempts to get a Set-MSB command to respond.

I would put device on extension cord and plug into PLM location and event trace trying to add device.  Posted trace could indicate a comm issue or a failed device.
