Did anyone notice if device control was faster now?

 

This afternoon, I pushed an update that speeds up connected home response time. It's now about 350-400ms faster than it was.

It does seem faster... I know there are other factors affecting latency and results may not always be consistent but I had timed responses in the past and was averaging 3.0 seconds and now am seeing 2.2 seconds from end of spoken command to change in status of device.

Now that you mention it, I ran some tests. The response is quicker, but not the confirmation. I'm guessing that the confirmation is beyond your control. Thanks for speeding thing up B)
