paulbates Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 io_guy, I'm noticing that as the temp drops and the needs for humidity adjustments increases, the time between humidity setpoint updates decreases, in some cases 3 - 5 seconds. I started looking at the logs when I noticed the stats, especially the T5900, rebooting more often, not a lot, but it definitely went up. A suggestion is to buffer the hold the updates to something like 5 seconds after the alerts and stat queries finish... or have 1 - 5 minutes (or so) minimum between updates Paul
io_guy Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 This is driven by the Venstar firmware bug where the humidity setpoint returned from the stat is not the actual setpoint. This causes NodeLink to continually send the setpoint when auto-adjust is enabled since it thinks it's not correct. I haven't done anything about this since I was hoping Venstar would release a firmware fix (they acknowledged the bug).
paulbates Posted February 14, 2016 Author Posted February 14, 2016 Thanks, didn't think about that relationship. Agreed that new FW is a little past due, I think 4.08 came out in June. Paul
