James Peterson Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 I am working on fixing a few install issues that I have noticed. after which I will be providing a link to opt in for open beta testing. If you do opt in for beta testing, I would hope that you do not down rank my app in the play store until I have had time to provide fixes to your issues and or crashes. The open beta app will have the same billing rules as the app that will be placed on the open market, except that you will have access to earlier off market versions. I will keep the beta access open for as long as I see it is need to work out most of the major bugs.
James Peterson Posted May 11, 2016 Author Posted May 11, 2016 Putting this back in: I guess it was lost in forum revert. Open Beta enroll link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.linuxjet.apps.agave
James Peterson Posted May 15, 2016 Author Posted May 15, 2016 I'm testing your app and it says my ISY user name is wrong. Any idea why? Also the isy address, is it the "MY URL"? Thanks How are you logging in? Direct IP or portal? Screenshot? Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Blackbird Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Why is the app asking for permissions to my contacts?
James Peterson Posted May 15, 2016 Author Posted May 15, 2016 Why is the app asking for permissions to my contacts? It needs access to your device login for enabling the trial. Mobi Linc did the same but is using an older version of the Android API so it doesn't ask for permission first. If you ignore this the app requires a purchase right away. Blackbird Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 How are you logging in? Direct IP or portal? Screenshot? Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk I included the http:// for the ISY address. After removing it I could login
Blackbird Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 So far what I'm seeing is the response time is way faster than mobilinc
James Peterson Posted May 15, 2016 Author Posted May 15, 2016 I included the http:// for the ISY address. After removing it I could loginOK. It should have auto detected and removed that. I'll look into it. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Blackbird Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 One odd thing I noticed. In my living room, I have 3 sets of lights, Above tv, above chair and main. The above chair and above tv are both set to gradually turn on and off while the living room main is set to instant. When I use your app it is reversed. The main is gradual and the above tv and above chair are instant.

Do others apps process this corrected? Switches respond differently via the API then they do directly. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Blackbird Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 I looked into it further and it seems mobilinc does the same but it was something I messed up in the program. Sorry all good
MWareman Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Loving this app so far. *Much* faster than Mobilinc. Better LAN/WAN detection. I do still have a niggling issue with scenes. If I switch a scene on from the favorites page, the devices in the scene turn on but the icon in the app switches on then off again - leaving the scene devices on. This sometimes happens multiple time before it starts on. Only then can I turn the scene off again.

MWareman Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Seems to happen with most of my scenes (I've not tested them all). Typically they contain one or two Switchlincs and a KPL button.
MWareman Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Also, with the latest update the app is crashing 2 or 3 times on start before asking me for the PIN I have set.

I haven't commented on it in a while since I had created a ticket for it a while back. But now that multiple ISY support is working I'm hoping this is the next big item on the list Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

MWareman Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Happens on my 6P as well - also submitted. It only started after I enabled the PIN.

I'm not seeing the reports. normally I get them almost immediately. Have you tried removing the pin and resetting it back up? I a wondering if something went wrong with the encryption transfer.
MWareman Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Hmm - not so sure now. I removed the PIN - but it's still crashing. Got messages this time that submitting the crash report was successful (don't remember seeing that last time - so that may have been a PECK problem.. )

Got messages this time that submitting the crash report was successful (don't remember seeing that last time - so that may have been a PECK problem.. ) I found it. There was an error in the portal username PIN encryption. I'll get a fix out right away. I do not know if the decryption string is fixable from your end. From the looks of it your portal credential were toasted. You may have to resign in or wipe and start over. Stupid mistake on my part.

You should see it in about an hour. It was quick, but I think it will get you past the error and allow you to re-add your portal credentials.
Blackbird Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 I cant seem to find where my overhead garage door relay is on you app. Any idea where it should be? On mobilinc I have a relay and sensor for the garage door. Thanks
