June 13, 20169 yr Not where I can check now, but need to order a 4 gang decora style cover of some sort either a blank or the 4 sqaures if they inline linc dimmers fit into those holes or are they flush with the box and you put a blank cover over them? They will be in the attic where it's warm and will be running the can lights from a couple of keypads instead of banks of switches. Thanks Alan

June 13, 20169 yr In-line devices do not have external controls, so a blank plate is usually used if the device is not in a ceiling box.
June 13, 20169 yr Author After getting some photos, they show them pretty flush in a box, so the blank plate will be the way to go, not going to dissapate any heat up in the attic, but running 4 max led lights won't put any load on them. Thank you Alan
June 13, 20169 yr Alan I have 2 have in a dual gang box in my attic running a 2 speed gable fan. Mine have handled the extremes fine. A blank plate will work great. Paul
