sfhutchi Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I installed the app, and tried to open it a couple days later. Unfortunately it states that my trial period is over. I saw another person in this forum saw the same thing. How do I fix this?
James Peterson Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 In oder to use app you need to allow the contacts support. I request this permission just to track the 30 days for trial. If it is not allowed my app will not grant access to trial and display that trial period is over. The previous user had installed in once more then 30 days from his post and dis not use the app. When it was reinstalled and updated the app was already logged trial had started when he originally installed. I gave him a trial period extension and all was resolved.
sfhutchi Posted June 17, 2016 Author Posted June 17, 2016 When I learned about your app (through the forum) earlier this week, I remember the note about allowing access to contacts. I was sure to accept this. Let me know what information that you need from me to confirm. I am excited about a new Android app being actively developed.

PM me your gmail address you log into you phone with and I'll check your trial install date.
TAllen Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 James, When granting access to contacts, does this give you access to all the contacts on my phone? I'm not comfortable with that. Is contacts access required for the purchased versions? Also, will port forwarding work with the trial?

The deeper answer is I "only" use this to track to device user account. I use this information to log the initial install date of the app. You can disable this access, but the app will require an access level purchase before it will all you to use it.
