Something that would help me is the ability to watch the state of rainmachine programs (on/off), and be able to start or stop the RM programs via ISY programs. One of my concerns with net wx has been that it sometimes gets rainfall wrong for my exact location.

 

I am able to measure rainfall locally. If I see a rainmachine program come on after enough rain actually fell that day, I would have an ISY program to catch that and stop the program. Or if enough rain fell during a run, have an ISY program cancel the RM.

 

It looks like the api can support querying of the program list from the rainmachine, its run stats, and also push that back into the device.
