James Peterson Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 I got it!! I'll do a bit of testing through the next couple days to make sure its not a fluke, but I hope to get it out this weekend. Using 2048bit Cert on mobile data away from home. first command takes about 5 secs. Subsequent commands are almost equivalent to on LAN.

Are you able to get the session details from the websocket subscription? Or is this always going to be a separate socket. If possible, you may be able to avoid the initial command delay as well...

If I can get that I think this will be well worth it. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
swiftee Posted September 1, 2016 Author Posted September 1, 2016 Great work James! And great support from Michael and others. Let me know if you want me to beta test the fix or on private build (not sure if that is even possible with the way they are published). Its exciting to finally have a decent "modern" mobile app for the great ISY.

G W Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 This is a big reason I support James. I know what goes into development of a mobile application. I worked on one for a year when I had a full time job. It was fun but ate up a lot if my time. Best regards, Gary Funk
James Peterson Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 I have pushed a test into the Alpha channel for me and the wife. If I don't see any issues throughout the first part of the day I'll upgrade it to the Beta channel. For anyone that has beta access you should see it then. Anyone not enrolled Beta can now enroll through the google app is I am not mistaken. Otherwise if no catastrophic issues, the build should be out tonight or tomorrow. Thanks to swiftee for stick'n with it. And thanks to everyone else for your input and advise on changes. This change will greatly improve performance of SSL with the app.
James Peterson Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Beta 1.1.0 is out. I should hopefully fix the SSL slowness. If nobody complains I will push the updates to live tomorrow.
James Peterson Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 I am noticing a bit of an issue with mobile data on the beta. I may have to hold off on the release. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Jimbo.Automates Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Looks good to me, tested with default SSL on mobile network, and no SSL on local. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
James Peterson Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 OK. Maybe it's my network right now. Still gunna hold off until I can test a bit more. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Jimbo.Automates Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Disconnected from LAN and mobile data seems fine toggling a few scenes and devices on and off. Although when I open a scene none of the members showed up, did a refresh and they were back. Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
