When you first boot up the PLM on an EZIO8SA. It writes a new device type ID into the PLM.

It changes the Category ID to 07 and Sub Category 04. The ID for an EZIO8SA

It then looks like a EZIO8SA to your ISY Controller. Not a Category 03 Sub Category 11 2413S PLM.

 

I am not too sure on this as I believe the replacement PLM's six digit ID is the new EZIO8SA's ID.

You may have to add it to the Administrative Console.

Then use the replace with function to replace the old ID used for the EZIO8SA.

I did a test with an EZIO8SA and two PLM's.

 

The EZIO8SA uses the PLM's six digit ID when being added to the Administrative Console.

 

I suggest.

You add the EZIO8SA with new PLM combination to your Administrative Console with a different name.

Then click on the original EZIO8SA in the Administrative Console and use the replace with choice to use the new EZIO8SA as the replacement.
