hbskisurf Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 I've been running my ISY v4.5.1 with the Z-Wave 4.55 for over a year and everything has been working great. However a few days ago, I realized that my locks and other Z-Wave devices were no longer working in my system. When I try to heal the network I get a bunch of Unexpected NULL errors in the event viewer. Any idea what I should check or try? hbskisurf Posted September 19, 2016 Author Posted September 19, 2016 Sync doesn't want to work either. It gets about 51% of the way through and then kicks me out and reboots. A couple reasons: 1) All Z-Wave devices are unreachable. The dongle is getting power based on the LED on reboot 2) ISY seems to reboot itself periodically. For example, when I try to sync it rebooted or when I left it idle and logged in for a few hours. 3) I have a few programs that have worked fine for over a year that are no longer working consistently either -a Program to display temp on my Elk keypads - should run from 1am for 24 hours - I think this could be an issue with the ISY randomly rebooting -b Motion sensor programs -c Earlier this week when I logged on, all of my programs had been disabled I'm not sure if this would be a PLM or ISY related issue. I just replaced the PLM a few months ago... I haven't made any changes to the system. The only thing I did do was to get my Elk system monitored by AlarmRelay last week. Would having the ISY and a monitoring service connected to my Elk cause any issues? Any ideas...I'm at a bit of a loss? Thanks
stusviews Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Insteon devices require the PLM, Z-Wave devices do not. If you're having difficulty with both, then I suggest the you contact support: http://www.universal-devices.com/contact-support/
hbskisurf Posted September 19, 2016 Author Posted September 19, 2016 That's what I was afraid of...I was thinking of trying a PLM restore but I didn't think ZWave ran off that. Thanks!
