iPad flat wall mount or hanging "pocket"?

Figure there are a lot of installers here who have put a lot of iPads flat against walls for use as controllers, so a good place to ask...

Looking for recommendations for putting an iPad ("iPad 3", or "new iPad" first version with 30pin connector, later they changed "new iPad" to lightning...) on a kitchen wall.

I do NOT want/need:

- stand for placing on counter (I may use one later when I add a rolling island between kitchen and living room, but will still want kitchen wall option)

- something hanging from cabinet (saw a nice bracket that angles the iPad out, but think this will get in the way)

- flat with wall surface/embedded in wall (e.g. do not want to cut a hole)

- do not need iPad powered by USB cable in use. I don't mind removing it to charge it.

I do not mind:

- drilling holes in wall

- additional rail above sink inline with existing rails (that is, TWO rails above sink, one goes at the top, not installed yet.)

My first thought was some sort of "frame" that will attach to wall, and iPad can drop in from above. It needs to protect the bottom from splash,

as I am thinking of putting it up behind the sink, or else where the paper towel holder is currently. I have just gotten another rail piece from

Amazon for placement at top above the sink, and the paper towel holder will be moved there.

But then I realized, hey, I have this fancy rail, what about that?

Rosle makes a hanging cell phone pocket, but nothing for tablets. Too bad. But that would probably be $150 or more, given their prices!

Simplest thing would be a simple vinyl (or other material) "pocket" that the iPad would drop into from the top. If it had two gussets at the

top, then I could just hang it from two hooks placed on the rail.

Alternatively, I do have a couple of magnet "hooks". That is, they aren't hooks, but round magnets that hang from the rail. See photo, I attached them to the rail above the paper towel holder so that you can see. So, could hold some case that has a back containing some ferrous metal, or double-sticky or epoxy a steel strip or (polarity-reversed) magnet strip on back of some slip-case? (Ha! Have some flat refrigerator magnets somewhere...)

Oh, wait, there's gotta be some case that sticks to your refrigerator, right?

I'm leaning toward the simple solution with the pocket-with-gussets. But Google is giving me a headache today! Anybody ever seen anything like this? I'll bet it would be handy on a boat, I should call of colleague who works from his sailboat...

FWIW, about the unfinished laminate backsplash top... it was poorly glued, and came right off. Once I built-up the wall to a flat surface for the copper metallic faux finish, the strip won't fit now, and there would be no practical way to cut it properly with the counter in place. Plan on using 1" x 1" brass angle over front edge, and smaller, thin brass angle at back. Have tried it out with scraps, and works great!

Go ahead, I fully expect comments from the peanut-gallery about the amount of space used in this tiny kitchen for bar supplies! ;)

(The kitchen is so pitifully small, I've had to redefine "kitchen" to include the entire back wall of the living room... Still WIP just assembled the Elfa shelving yesterday.)

OK, duh!

Just checked, and magnets WILL stick to my refrigerator. (Some stainless ones will, some won't.)

What iPad refrigerator cases do people here like?

The kitchen is so small, that it really does not matter WHERE in the kitchen I put the iPad! Might as well use that space on the front of the fridge.

Did you look at iport? I have used these often for customers and they like them and seem to be a quality product.
