Win10IoT Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Some of my Zooz ZSE40 motion sensors are missing the motion sensing node. They all show up as, Battery Multilevel Notify Tamper and few of them show an additional node, Motion. ISY994 ZW PRO Firmware v.4.5.4 Z-Wve 21100 Why does this happen? But more importantly, how do I fix this? What additional information can I provide to help diagnose the problem? Thanks! Here's the node information in for these nodes. Chris Jahn Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Hi Win10IoT, Try triggering the motion sensor, this may create the ISY node for you. If it does not, delete all the ISY nodes for the device (do not exclude the device, just go to the device tree and delete them). Following that, make sure the device is awake and then do a Z-Wave -> Tools -> Synchronize Nodes -> New & Deleted. This will recreate all the ISY nodes for the device,
Win10IoT Posted October 31, 2016 Author Posted October 31, 2016 Thanks for the suggestion. I will try this out and update the thread.
themlruts Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 Thanks for the suggestion. I will try this out and update the thread. Did you get all the nodes to work? I am thinking about picking one of these up Mike
Win10IoT Posted November 12, 2016 Author Posted November 12, 2016 My apologies. I should have updated this thread sooner. I was busy trying to get other stuff working. No, I could not get it working. The ones that do work and show up as motion sensors don't perform very well either; and not just with ISY. They have performance issues with ST as well. Very slow to detect and report motion. There is a noticeable delay triggering lights with this sensor. Other sensors are much snappier--AEON, EcoLink, etc.
