pyrorobert Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 So I just picked up my Gear S3 watch and was wondering if you are able to make it compatible to Agave. I noticed before on my Android Wear watch that it had Agave installed on it and said coming soon. It would be great to see this watches ability extended to Agave for access to my home automation. Regards, Robert

Regards, Robert I paused wear support for now, but I do plan on adding support. This is a feature that I really want, but when I polled the crowd wear did not seem very up on the list. As soon as I figure out a few of the proximity issue I am looking into I will start up wear development again. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Jamison_IO Posted November 27, 2016 Posted November 27, 2016 OT, but would love to hear your impressions as you get to using the Gear S3. That is not the LTE version, is it?
pyrorobert Posted November 27, 2016 Author Posted November 27, 2016 Yes, I have the 4G LTE model. I had the Samsung Gear Live that ran on Android Wear, although the battery did not last a full day. The Gear S3 will definitely last me 2 full days, but with all my apps in it and the always on display running it won't last me the 3 to 4 days as stated by Samsung. The speaker sounds pretty clear and the microphone seems to pick up my voice just fine. Overall I am happy with it. Thanks James for the update, I look forward to using that option. Regards, Robert
