Why are ISY programmers so angry and demanding?

When discussing the If section logic evaluation, many seem to demand the outcome.

 

..."It will run Then, or else..."

 

 

 

What do they think they are going do, if it doesn't?

Because when we are up very very late trying to find the one line that muks everything up we lose touch with what we are doing, we are tired and hungry and most likely have a spouse that is yelling at us because the TV turned itself off YET AGAIN.
