k7zpj Posted January 25, 2017 Share Posted January 25, 2017 That seems to make a dimmer useless except that a dimmer doesn't click. Pretty much. However, it means, you don't have to rip out the expensive dimmer and replace it with a switch to test which I took to be OP's concern. Link to comment

I have some LIFXs on order to play with but to retrofit them to an expensive pre installed dimming setup is not pleasant Link to comment
