Can I suspend a device?

I have about a dozen Insteon dimmers Modules that I use for my Christmas lights every year. When I take the Christmas lights down, I unplug and pack up the modules with my Christmas decorations. So, after doing this, every time I log into the administrative console, I get the "cannot communicate with ......message for each of the modules. I have disabled he program the controls the modules but is there a way to prevent these messages from appearing with out removing the modules from the system?

I recall that there is. Right-click on the device...do you see the option to disable?

That is the correct process to stop the pop up message when a device is not present. If done properly the device will indicate a red circle with a hash mark through it.

Works awesome . . .

No worries - There are so many features and options in the ISY Series Controller. Unless you have a pressing need for X vs Y most of these subtle nuances will rarely be known. Now, if the team could make that disable be programmable where you could add that element to the program.

So when you go to plug in all those devices next XMAS you won't need to enable them once again.

That, would be super awesome and would encourage you to place that in the product request forum: http://forum.universal-devices.com/forum/6-product-requests/

Unfortunately you will have to plug the devices in to disable them. Then you can unplug and pack them away.

Not true, the image capture in my first posting was with the iMeter Solor unplugged. You need only right mouse click and select disable and it will do so.
