February 13, 20178 yr I have the Elk module setup installed for my ISY. I can see all of the areas, zones, etc... and I can arm/disarm the system through several programs with no problems. My problem is with Mobilinc. Under "Security" all I can see is "Area 2" of the Elk which is currently not in use by me. I want to be able to view and arm "Area 1 / Home". How can I switch the area in Mobilinc? I couldn't find any option to change this anywhere. I tried updating the ISY setting in Mobilinc a few times but that had no impact. Thanks.
February 13, 20178 yr I'm guessing that you've renamed Area 1 to be something that comes later alphabetically. There's a way to swipe over and see the other areas, but I suspect that you'll need to follow the directions linked below to remove the unused areas. http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/21029-isy-displaying-disabled-areas-for-my-elk/
February 14, 20178 yr Author Got the answer from Wes @ Mobilinc: “Found the workaround in the forum. Open the ELK RP software, add areas 2 to 8, send to ELK system, then delete areas 2 to 8, send to ELK system. Disconnect. Open ISY admin, refresh topology. That made Areas 2 to 8 disappear in the ISY. Then I “updated” the MobiLinc which deleted the ghost areas leaving only Area 1.” Worked like a charm!
