I would like to automate our pool to work based on sunrise/sunset. currently I need to adjust the run times manually. It is equipped with a remote (RF) station inside, but it cannot be programmed except for repetitive tasks (same time,etc). Thanks!

For a simple test plug in an appliancelinc into the plug and then plug your pump into it. If you can turn on/off the pump then the Insteon signal is able to reach the pool. Then rip out the Hayward stuff and use a On/Off outdoor Insteon Module. Keep it simple.
