Hi there - I can create custom lock codes for my schlage lock in the ISY through the USERS interface.  Works great. I would like the ability to add and remove user lock codes based on day or other variables. Is this possible?  A quick look into the program options and it looks like Lock and Unlock are my only options but wanted to double check.

Nope, can't do it. That's been requested a few times. It may be a security concern put into place by lock manufacturers, but that's just speculation

The ISY console does have functionality to set or delete a user code in the admin console, so it can be done via Z-Wave.   Technically it is a limitation of the ISY-994, not a limitation imposed by Schlage.

The official Nexia app for iPhone manages user codes. Smart Things has "Lock manager", and Wink can do it too:

The OP would like to add/remove user codes based on, for example, time of day. A program can do that automatically. Doing it manually requires, well, stopping whatever you're doing and making the changes from the ISY interface at that particular time.

Both HomeSeer and Z-wave.Me support managing user codes from within a program.  The latter provides a REST API which could be used from ISY-994 to change a user code using a Network Resource call.
 
Again, this is a feature UDI has not chosen to write source code for in the current firmware, not something technologically or contractually restricted to only being done by a human clicking on things; UDI could add it to the next 5.0.x code update and this whole thread would be moot.

Yah exactly. If I could change the user codes via a program i could, for example, set a new code each day and sms that code to a visitor at a specific time. Currently, I can do this but I need to find a computer, login to isy, update the code and I believe this is only accessible via the desktop admin tool vs. mobile app like Mobilinc or Agave.
