andrew77
I have a hutch that has a few lights in it. You touch a hinge on one of the doors and the lights go on (touch once, dim, touch twice, brighter, touch a third time, full bright). I tried to hook it up with a lamplinc but it doesn't work. Has anyone ever tried this? Is there a work around? I'd love to add it to a few scenes. Drew Link to comment
Sub-Routine
I have read reports that the most recent LampLincs send commands when controlled locally, though I have no experience of that. Rand Link to comment
David D
You will most likely have bypass/remove the touch control. It may be simply a matter of unplugging the lights from the touch control box and plugging them into the Lamplinc. Link to comment
andrew77
Done and done. Thanks David. I just opened up the touch control box on the back, cut it out, spliced the wires, solder, shrinkwrap, put back in the box without the controller and good to go. I was making life more difficult for myself as usual. Drew Link to comment
David D
I too am guilty of "over-thinking" things (engineer's disease). Glad to be of assistance! Link to comment
