August 4, 20178 yr I finally got around to installing a local EmonCMS server on my home network. I'm quite impressed with the graph module that's available with it. Super fast and allows you to dynamically choose any data feed to display. Here's an example where I picked house watts, AC watts and a couple one-wire temps over a day. In the next NodeLink version I plan to add additional EmonCMS support to NodeLink. Thinking at least to the Data Logger and Thermostat devices.
August 5, 20178 yr I will as well! I currently have a ton of programs/network resources feeding emoncms locally...it would be fantastic to have some of that functionality in NodeLink!!!
August 5, 20178 yr Now that hat Dashbox supports forwarding power events, I need to figure out how to have Dashbox feed emoncms, so I can add ISY data to it... Just got to get around to it.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
August 8, 20178 yr Author Support for Thermostats and ISY Logger has been added to 0.7.1. If you previously were sending your GEM data to EmonCMS you'll want to rename your EmonCMS inputs to add "gem_" to the front of them. Needed a new naming scheme now that there could be many devices sending. You'll also need to re-enter your EmonCMS credentials under the main NodeLink settings. Now that hat Dashbox supports forwarding power events, I need to figure out how to have Dashbox feed emoncms, so I can add ISY data to it... Just got to get around to it.. August 9, 20178 yr Hello io_guy, Could you give me an overview of how the Emoncms support works between nodelink and the ISY please. I've been poking at it but I don't see how/where it interacts with the ISY. Thanks. -Xathros EDIT: Nevermind. Found it in Datalogger. Edited August 9, 20178 yr by Xathros
August 9, 20178 yr Author Thermostats and GEM send data directly, no ISY. The ISY integration is with variables. If you install the Data Logger module you can select ISY variables to send to EmonCMS.
August 10, 20178 yr Soooo much nicer than an endless list of programs and network resources to get my ISY info to Emoncms. Excellent work. Thanks again! -Xathros
