Goose66 Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 I installed NodeLink on my RPi, ran it, added my RainMachine to Devices, and then configured it on the ISY in Slot 3. Upon reboot of the ISY, it loaded the nodes for the Zones and Programs from my RainMachine, but with an address prefix of "n001_" instead of "n003_." As such none of the nodedefs.xml or NLS settings are working, and I can't see any details of each node. Is there someplace in the NodeLink settings to set the NodeServer slot? EDIT: It looks it's looking for a Node Server slot/profile No. I get this in the error log: 2017-10-23 14:43:27 - ISY Node Server profile set to along with a bunch of warnings of "Duplicate node names exist on the ISY" (don't know why NodeLink would care about that).
io_guy Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 You need to create the nodeserver name in the ISY per the howto. NodeLink will then find the appropriate slot. Duplicates are a warning, NodeLink doesn't care.
Goose66 Posted October 23, 2017 Author Posted October 23, 2017 Yep - that did it. Another quick question: Turning a zone On only runs it for one minute (1:00). Is this a NodeLink thing or a RainMachine setting?
io_guy Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 RainMachine. In a newer revision I'll try to make it configurable. I believe they allow this in the latest firmware.
Goose66 Posted October 24, 2017 Author Posted October 24, 2017 Or just run it until I turn It off (with max safety?)
