ArunGupta2014 Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I am on 1.6.825 and seeing two issues. The device status is not shown correctly on home page. On the home page, certain devices keep showing ON whereas they are OFF and they show OFF even in ISY Admin Console. If I turn them OFF using the ON/OFF slider button, after few seconds, the button slider again jumps back to ON. When I touch the device icon in the top left hand corner and go into device details, then the device status automatically updates to OFF, sometimes after several seconds. Now when I go back to home screen, the device status shows OFF correctly. Happening to both Z-Wave and Insteon devices. Second problem: The ON/OFF devices keep showing status as 75% or 25% which does not make sense as these devices are non-dimmable. Happens to both Z-Wave and Insteon devices. ISY 5.0.10.

I am not really sure what is happening for you on the favorites, but if you can put the device into debug mode and send me a log of the device starting up, it would help me diagnose the issue. Could you send me screenshots of the zwave devices as well as a node dump of each device.
LFMc Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I have noticed similar activity on my insteon devices on the home page. But, I also see it on the ISY Ajax console and the Dashboard on my PC. The only resolution for it was to click on the query button. But, the Agave switches have no query button that I can find. Even a "query all" would be nice to make sure I am looking at a correct, updated screen. As to the % on a none dimmable item, I have seen this when it is a part of a scene and one or more items in the scene is on. If it is a scene button, click into the detail and it will show you if a member of the scene is on. For instance I have a on/off hot water pump in a scene with an 8 button KPL. If the pump comes on due to a program and the KPL button isn't lit, I get a 50% on display on the button. I probably could/should program around it, but I haven't taken the time.

This is a scene with non-dimmable Insteon switches. All switches in the scene are OFF but as you can see in the screen capture, the status is shown as 75% ON. If I slide the ON/OFF switch to OFF position, within seconds, it jumps back to ON again.

As for the scene you can go into the details and select which devices are used to calculate the total percentage. This will correct the issues that you are seeing in the percentage values. The issues has no "ON" for a scene do Agave just guesses. You can use the exclusion ability to help Agave calculate the correct status. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
