Madelinot Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 Hi, I recently purchased an ISY994i, updated its firmware to 5.0.10 and installed a Raspberry Pi with the latest version of Nodelink (0.8.3). I successfully and quickly setup my DSC Alarm and a Honeywell thermostat. Everything is working beautifully. Except that I can't adjust my thermostat in Celsius since the lowest values for the Heat and Cool setpoints are both 32 (which is obviously in Fahrenheit, freezing point). I would like to set it to 21-22C, which is equivalent to around 72F. If the values would go down to 0 in the dropdown menu, I would be set. Am I missing something? If not, can that be corrected in the next release? Thanks!

IIRC, I had to delete the device in ISY, and then click Install node" in the NodeLink web maintenance page. IIRC I rebooted my ISY in between but it may not be necessary. You may have to click update on every line of program using the device after to "reconnect "any usage spots since ISY uses internal numeric links and desite the same names may not be internally pointed to the right device.
Madelinot Posted November 11, 2017 Author Posted November 11, 2017 Excellent, that worked. I now have a range of 15-35 C, which is much better. But why only 15? I wish I could set it below 15. But that’s good for now I guess... Thanks a lot!

But that’s good for now I guess... Thanks a lot! I just installed a new ecobee4 and discovered something. You can't click the "Install ISY node" in NodeLink until NodeLink has all the information from the stat. I did it again and got F temperature ranges installed. I had to delete the new stat from ISY and reinstall the iit from Nodelink again. I am not sure this is possible because I have never seen a NodeLink device populate with data until the node is installed into ISY. "Canadian Standoff"?
io_guy Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 All NodeLink nodes get data without ISY connection. I've started changing the devices to only allow ISY addition once device data is read. To prevent things like F/C issues.

To prevent things like F/C issues. That is what I would have thought but I waited over ten minutes the last time when a few minutes didn't do it on the previous try. I falsely concluded a handshake from ISY must be necessary. Thanks. Sent from my SGH-I257M using Tapatalk
