mike2545 Posted January 12, 2018 Share Posted January 12, 2018 I installed (16) 2466DW ToggleLinc switches and have one that acts up every once in awhile. It will not respond manually or otherwise until I remove the switch and disconnect/reconnect the hot wire.This switch is a controller for a scene with no load on it. When it is unresponsive it will not communicate with the isy or be queried. Is this a problem with the switch or another issue? Mike Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ScottAvery Posted January 12, 2018 Share Posted January 12, 2018 If they are new and under warranty, contact smarthome and get a new one sent to you and don't bother trying to diagnose it further. In the mean time, if you pull the little clear plastic pin at the bottom (set button) out with your fingernail instead of pushing it in, that is the Air Gap method of removing power. stusviews Posted January 13, 2018 Share Posted January 13, 2018 If its only function is a scene controller or program trigger, a Factory Reset is a good idea. In fact, it's a good idea in any case.
