seanB Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 I have had a working BE469 for several months (door to garage). Worked fine and paired fine about 20’ from ISY. I would like to install another one on the outer door which is about 20’ past the first one and set it up so that a specific code entered outside also unlocks the inner lock as a responder. My reservations are: 1- will the first lock act as a repeater since the second lock will be 40+ feet from isy? 2- can I make one code unlock both locks and other codes only work on the outer lock? The other problem is that the current lock went on the fritz and I haven’t been able to get it to correctly pair. Will try a factory reset later this week when I get back home.
lilyoyo1 Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Battery powered devices do not repeat signals so a lock will not work for repeating. Yes, if you write a program that unlocks the second lock it will do so.
