JLOB Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 This be have been answered elsewhere in the forum, but I’ve not been able to find it. I have an Isy-controlled outdoor light. It works just fine. In addition to its regular schedule, I’d like to also, on occasion, turn it o at 50%. I thought I could do that with a scene, having the one device in that scene and have that iteration of the device on-level set to 50% as opposed to 100%. Doesn’t appear to work. Maybe I’m trying something that can’t be done? Anyone have a comment? Thanks. JLOB
webminster Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 You can do that, either with a scene (setting on-level for device in that scene) or direct device control. You don't mention the Insteon device type - you're sure it's a dimmable type of device?
JLOB Posted April 28, 2018 Author Posted April 28, 2018 Of COURSE I can! All I needed to do was have you jog my memory. I'm definitely getting too old for this stuff. You wouldn't believe the gyrations I went through this morning to get that to happen. I read your note and had it fixed within two minutes...not to mention beingabe to delete three extraneous scenes! Thanks for the help. JLOB
