pankab Posted April 30, 2018 Share Posted April 30, 2018 Hello, I have a new issue with my ISY994i. It is running 4.6.2. And it has lost connectivity to a Insteon 8key keypad. I have a lot of programs dependent on the keypad, so I don't want to remove and re-add. Restoring device does not do anything. I also tried to Restore PLM which didn't work. I am attaching the communication events from when I query the main key of the keypad from ISY. Any ideas? Thanks comms.txt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
larryllix Posted April 30, 2018 Share Posted April 30, 2018 Welcome to the forums! Factory reset the device and then use Restore from ISY. This will restore all links and programs are not affected. If this is a battery device it has to be in linking mode first. I am not sure if you have KPL or a mini-remote keypad. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pankab Posted May 1, 2018 Author Share Posted May 1, 2018 Thank you larryllix. Your suggestion worked. A minor change I had to make was to relink the wired 8 button keypad with ISY. So, what I practically had to do is factory reset the keypad, then Restore Device from ISY and then relink the keypad with ISY by using “Do not remove existing links and add new ones”.
