madmartian Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Just mentioning I've tested on Android Oreo with no issues. I will be posting an update today - fixed a bug where the "last used folder" was loading the wrong folder if some folders were empty or hidden.
LFMc Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 Thanks for the updates. Still very much enjoy your app. I noticed your app is "eligible" for the Google Family Library feature. I tried turning mine on and it's either not available or grayed out. Is there a reason I can't do this? I have no idea when I bought the app, but it has been a while. If this is the issue, why would purchase date restrict my ability to use this feature? One recommendation, Insteon products for lighting still seem to be geared toward incandescent lights with their linear dimming scale. This means with most of my LED lights, I get full brightness (or very close to it) before I get to 50% and can't really get them to a low light dim status without going well below 10%. It would be nice if they had a more logarithmic scale to their dimming feature. Being SHC doesn't go below 10% jumps, is there a way you could program to give us 5% steps or possibly better yet a variable step below 20% so that as we go below 10-20% the jumps get smaller, say 1-2%? So maybe have an "LED" dimming scale choice that the jumps go from small to larger as the percentage passes 50% to 100%? I'm glad to test it for you, just LMK.
madmartian Posted December 22, 2018 Author Posted December 22, 2018 Wow, sorry LFMc, I did not get a notification for this post and just now saw it. I am planning an update in January, so I can easily add a 5% step option. The logarithmic option is also interesting but would take more time. I am adding more LED fixtures myself so should be able to test this function. I will look into the google family issue - might just be something I haven't turned on. I will post here when I have an update available. And now I have turned on notifications for this post. Sorry again for the delay.
