Hi all,

I'm enjoying getting to know my new ISY994i.  I just started to mess around with it and IFTTT.  I have some simple inbound automations working (if it's 8 PM, turn on my light).  Now I'm trying to change a state variable from IFTTT... I believe the process is much like that for turning a device on or off, for example, I should be able to Add a Variable, give it an "event name", then select the variable out of the drop down.  However, when I drop down the list, no variables appear in the list.  I've tried logging out of portal, refreshing using the Refresh button, even rebooting my isy (last ditch effort) and still they don't appear.

 

Is there some trick to making these work?

I'm running 4.7.3 on an isy994i with insteon devices.  everything else is working (so far), i just can't figure out how to get the isy state variables to show up in the portal so i can expose them to ifttt!

 

any suggestions?

ok, I am dumb.  I was creating int variables, not state variables.  state variables appear -- but I guess int variables don't.
