drprm1 Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 Updated iOS on phone to iOS 12 and now portal occupancy isn’t updating. Is there a new setting I may have overlooked to get this working again? Thanks Quote

Is there a new setting I may have overlooked to get this working again? Thanks Which app are you using to trigger the occupancy node? I'm using Locative and it's working fine on both an iPhone X and XS Max running iOS 12.0. No changes required. Quote
drprm1 Posted September 27, 2018 Author Posted September 27, 2018 Used to use locative but switched to the Isy portal occupancy node Quote
rccoleman Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 The occupancy node is just a node controlled by the Portal that you can change by sending a REST call. You still need an app to make that REST call based on your location. I use Locative for that. There’s an Android app that UDI commissioned to do that, but I don’t think there’s an equivalent iOS app at this time. Quote
drprm1 Posted September 27, 2018 Author Posted September 27, 2018 Got to be that. When I hit on the locative app it downloaded the app so it wasn’t on my phone or the update changed the setting for it. Im sure (?) I can figure it out now Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Quote
rccoleman Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 (edited) Glad to help. To get the URLs to call for in/out, just log into the portal, go to Tools->Node Server->Occupancy, and click the arrow/"share" button to the left of the phone name (second line for me).
