wingman1487 Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 How are people configuring their Fanlinc scenes with their 6 Button KPLs while using Agave? The reason I ask is since Agave has built in Fanlinc capabilities it can control the Fanlinc directly, but since the Fanlinc cannot be a controller, it cannot set the status of a scene and therefore the KPL will not be updated. Example, I have Light On/Off and then the 2 buttons for Off/High (the other 2 are used with Lamplinc that can be controllers so they are reporting scene status back OK when Agave directly controls those). If the Fan Off scene is On, this sets the Fan High scene to off (and vice versa), and when controlled from the KPL this remains true, however when I use Agave to control the fan, there is no way of controlling the scene for the KPL to report the current status of the Fan (High or Off) (Don't use Low/Med so not worried about those cases). This is the same thing with the Fan Light. Hope that makes sense, just curious how everyone else has it setup to have the KPL status update with what Agave has done by controlling the Fanlinc directly.
Jimbo.Automates Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 You'll need a program to monitor the fanlinc status and turn the button scene on. But it would be nice if Agave saw that the fanlinc was a controller of a scene and turned the scene on. That should be easy for the light, but may not be possible for the fan modes.Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
