Posted November 13, 20186 yr Hi Everyone, I have just connected a new isy994Zw/Ir pro. I'm still reading up on setup. Nothing done yet, but I did read about having to update to newer firmware to use node servers. Is this correct and what would be the recommended firmware? I have extensive Hue lighting, so I am hoping to gain some control with Isy.
November 13, 20186 yr You are correct sir. 5.0.14 is the newest version which also allows node servers. Go to https://forum.universal-devices.com/forum/88-software-releases-updates/ for the firmware information. Go to https://forum.universal-devices.com/forum/56-developers/ for the Polyglot information. There is a good Youtube video set about the Polyglot installation in there. Dig around. Have fun!
November 13, 20186 yr Here is the latest firmware link: Here is a link to the ISY994i Home Automation Cookbook with a lot of information and examples: http://www.universal-devices.com/docs/production/The+ISY994+Home+Automation+Cookbook.pdf This book has a lot of information on Polyglot and NodeServers. There is also a Hue NodeServer available. Edited November 13, 20186 yr by deidrichfehr Edit
November 18, 20186 yr Author Thanks for the help everyone. So the latest beta is safe to install? Looks like it's been around for awhile, I'm guessing no major bugs.

If you can find one bug in v5.0.14 I will pay for your cost of the upgrade firmware. Edited November 18, 20186 yr by larryllix
