io_guy Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 You didn't follow the instructions. Either run the installer or: sudo apt install libmono-system-net-http*
Goose66 Posted November 27, 2018 Author Posted November 27, 2018 Thanks. That appears to work, although still problems running it as a system daemon. I will try and clear that up. Not sure what instructions you were referring to, though. As I said, working great for months and then after installing a different package (Unifi Controller) a couple days ago NodeLink died. The Unifi Controller package must have screwed something up with libmono-system-net-http (which is weird, because it's Java, not Mono).
rccoleman Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 I also just had a conflict with NodeLink and the Unifi controller on my RPI3. The latest set of Ecobee server issues encouraged me to run the NodeLink installation script that io_guy built (see other thread), and my Unifi controller stopped working at the same time (seg fault on launch). From the Unifi forum, it seems like they recently added some Java arguments that require a newer Java version, and it has to be installed in a specific way and the old version uninstalled in a specific way. I did eventually get it work, and it may have just been a coincidence of a Unifi controller change and Ecobee server issues that were entirely on their side.
