Polyglot V2 Ecobee Nodeserver

I'm not getting any updates to the ISY without restarting the Nodeserver on rPi since updating to 2.0.11.

I have gone back to 2.0.5 until this is all resolved. I'm mostly data mining for various operations.

There should not be any issue with getting updates, I'll need a log package to try to debug

I had to delete then reinstall on the 20th due to a rogue node after the update. I did clean the node slot (8) with mongo before the reinstall.

2.0.5 is in slot (12) with a slight overlap before I stopped the other instance today.

Yes I see that 2.0.11 was started at:

and then at

2018-12-22 15:58:20,298 [Interface ] [INFO ] MQTT Unexpected disconnection. Trying reconnect.

and then it kept getting that over and over, and in the polyglot log I see at that same time

2018-12-22 15:58:08 - info: Ecobee(12): Attempting to install Ecobee NodeServer into ISY.

So based on this, my guess is that there were actually 2 copies of the Ecobee nodeserver running on that machine.   I've only seen this happen when running polyglot manually from a checkout of the repo.

Can you make sure there are not two running: ps -ef | grep ecobee

and you should only see one python3 ./ecobee-poly.py

Only one running. When I installed the older version in slot 12 I neglected to stop the other version so there was a lot of disconnect error stuff.

I just switched back over to 2.0.11 and watched the log and noticed that the drivers are not updated in polyglot when the long poll completes.

I also did a git pull and captured your last changes.

FYI, Cloud says latest version is 2.011, but stopping and starting service still yields 2.010...

Do I need to delete and re-install?

While on the topic of versions, why do the logs say this:

Ecobee NodeServer Version 2.0.11a

But the Title page stills says:

Current Version: 2.0.11

Minus the "a"

Also, I forget the exact version, but for the longest time, the title page was way off, reading something like 2.0.2. Even when the logs read something much higher.

Yes, just found the bug causing updates to not come thru on long poll, it happened when I added the 't' prefix to thermostat node address. Hopefully can release all my fixes later tonight.

No, that's a bug in Polyglot Cloud that should get fixed soon.  You can see in log the version number.

Currently we can only debug Polyglot Could with master of the github, so I added that a just to see that it was actually updating.

I'm still showing only one of my two thermostats and the data is all blank.

It should be in the store within the hour. I've tested both local and cloud, everything looks good except some drivers are not initializing properly on cloud but it doesn't cause any problem.

Give it a try and let me know if you have any issues.

Should not be an issue but I don't have 2 to test with. Are you running local or cloud? If local please PM me the log package, if cloud please copy and paste as much of the log as you can. I'll try to look tomorrow.

I tried 2.0.02 (obviously it had problems) then when 2.0.10 came out I stopped it and tried to start it (because it was supposed to update by starting it, but it didn't), I deleted and installed 10.0.10 when it came out, deleted that because again the auto update didn't work, deleted that and now I'm trying to install 2.0.12 which gives me a bunch of red error box (generally not immediately),  I get several different messages: some are:

"No worker available to be assigned"

"Couldn't update Driver to ISY status 404"

"ISYGetNodeServers Response wasn't XML"

A couple socket errors that I haven't been able to capture yet....Also rebooted the ISY a couple times.

 

On polyglot.io, it only shows:

Current Status: Unmanaged

"no details available"
 

ISY-994i is at 5.0.14

If you don't get around to this until after tomorrow that is more than ok, I am not in any hurry.

I'm running 2.0.12 now on my local Polyglot and can see all three of my t-stats.  All of the data and the details seem to be correct.  However I cannot make any changes to them like adjusting set points, mode and such.  Is this expected behavior or should I be able to make changes to the t-stats?  Thanks in advance!

Those are all Polyglot issues. You don't need to delete and restart, even though when you stop and start it shows it's running the old it's actually not. You can see the version in the log.

So something I noticed just recently. The Occupancy variable does change for the the satellite sensors, but not for the thermostats itself.
