In the past, I've installed the UDI Administrative Console by running isy.universal-devices.com/994i/admin.jnlp.  This jnlp grabs the jar & installs it.

Is there somewhere I can download whatever's needed to install the admin console locally - to keep a fully local offline copy offline?  So that it could be transferred to & setup on a LAN-only PC that can't directly access the universal-devices website?

Yes.

  • Download the java file from your local ISY by its IP Address:
    • (example) 192.168.0.20/admin.jnlp
  • Drag the file from its download location to your deskop
  • double click it / use it in the future
  • You'll need to repeat the above every time you upgrade your ISY

  3. Adjust your preference.
