That time again... Mobilinc HD, router change, can't reconnect

Featured Replies

Hi all -

Well, once or twice a year I lose connectivity between Mobilinc HD and my ISY for one reason or another.

Where can I find the most recent Mobilinc HD instructions? The instructions I found on the Mobilinc site seem to only be for Mobilinc X now.

Any help appreciated!

Hi @Andrew

If you are using MobiLinc Connect and the ISY drops off due to a router change, all you need to do is reboot your ISY.

If the ISY had a fixed IP, you may need to reset the ISY's network settings first back to DHCP to get the ISY back on your new router's network.

Thanks Wes -

I'm using Mobilinc HD - would it be the same?

[edit] Tried restarting the ISY - still works fine from my laptop, no connectivity thru Mobilinc though.

[edit 2] Ok, a little progress - I can now get to my ISY locally - however, I cannot reach it remotely (I keep getting the "Mobilinc Disconnected" error)
