io_guy Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 For any miLight users out there. I'm using a V4 bridge with NodeLink, was going to ditch it because of sketchy firmware and KRACK on the wi-fi. Turns out these use an HF-LPT100 standard chip. If you point your browser to the bridge's IP you get the admin console (login/pass: admin/admin). From there you can upgrade the firmware from the sketchy and old custom miLight version to the latest standard code:http://www.hi-flying.com/hf-lpt100 Upgrading resets your wi-fi back to standard (you need to setup the STA mode again), but your links to the bulbs are untouched. Quite happy bring this thing into 2019 code. I use a Ubiquiti network and the bridge's connection health has greatly improved after the upgrade.
