JimMc Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 I'm testing a z-wave+ product that controls dc-powered RGBW strip lights. It's the model ZW-1002 from RGBGenie, and I'm using a ISY994zw (old dongle) running 4.7. The device was added to my z-wave network with no issues, but the device in the ISY portal only presents on/off and a brightness menu, no individual color controls at all. Is this normal? Why isn't the ISY discovering the other control functions that are built in to the ZW-1002 for color, strobe effects, etc.? Are they unlocked in some parameter menu? As it stands now all I have is a dimmer for a white LED strip light. The capabilities built-in are: capability "Switch Level" capability "Color Control" capability "Switch" capability "Refresh" capability "Actuator" capability "Sensor" capability "Health Check" capability "Light" It looks like the ISY is only using the first capability on this list.
lilyoyo1 Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Multi channel devices need 5.0. I've never heard of that brand so I don't know if it's supported or not. However there is zero chance of it working under 4.7
